Taylor-Joy stated that the move had been difficult and that she was unable to study English because she hoped to go back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend following her departure from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School and studied ballet, while also performing in school's productions. When she dropped out of school at the age of 16, Taylor-Joy pursued a full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy has always known that she wanted to be an actress.
